This story is called "Desert"

I loved it and I was staying there forever. But I didn't want to. It was too gassy. It was the sun's gas. Well, the bad guy flew in an airplane with me and I was sent there. I was sent there because he was too bad for me. He said, "You will stay here forever!" But I said, "No!" I was ended up in a very too hot house. With a fire in a fireplace. I was all alone and I was 72 years old. I got to leave until I was 89. I lived a long time. I had lots of birthdays. I thought it was 89 degrees and it was 89 degrees so I said, "This degree is okay." Because I leaved when I was 89 was because there was a nice lass coming over for a visit and she said, "You can leave now." She came from the desert. She was in a very cold house made with a little bit of ice in an iceplace. To cool her off. Since I was too hot I needed to live with her because my sweats were made of fire. And my mind was made of smoke. It was nice living with her and I loved her. She was 3 years old.

We had a very, very fine and yummy dinner

We were having a very, very fine and yummy dinner because we had a kielbasa. And we had a yummy, yummy steak. I ate one kielbasa and I ate a bit of the steak and I ate the chicken covered with sauce. The special things I had were lemon spritzer and the silver cans were filled with rootbeer. Mimi's in the picture, too.

DeeDee and Papa are sitting in chairs. They are talking to each other. Where we were was Mimi and Papa's house. They live far away. They live in Jaffrey.

It was a nice Memorial Day and I loved it the best.

The Mt. Wantastiquet was fun

I'm looking all around. And there was a spring. And a spring is something that makes the water get out of things. And it comes out of underground.
There's a salamander. We saw 4 salamanders.
There's a toad. Daddy saw it first. How big it was was 5 inches. [Ed. note: Actually, it was about 1 inch long.] No, I knew it was 5 inches. Mama, it wasn't 1 inch long.
There is a ladyslipper. I love it!

Mt. Wantastiquet climbing is hard-- that's because it was very long

I loved this. I was walking up Mt. Wantastiquet mountain. I went with my Grandma Emily up the mountain. How long it was is 2 miles! And I did it all by myself!
Dorian's riding on Daddy's shoulders. Because he was riding on Daddy's shoulders is because he didn't walk well.
At the top I saw lots of buildings. Those buildings are way through the trees. The town is called Brattleboro!
You know what we can see over here? The river. The river is Mt. Wantastiquet River. [Ed. note: Actually, it's the West River.]
We saw our school. We also saw a cemetery. That black dot is a turkey vulture.

Now we're gonna do the drums

I am playing the drums. I wonder what I am hitting it with? I'm hitting them with my brushes.
I'm playing them with my sticks. And I'm wearing headphones on my head so they're not too loud.
I'm playing them, but it looks like I'm playing them too loud but I'm not.
DeeDee is walking up with my blue drum.

Messy brother

Dorian's covered in paint! Dorian was painting and he got too messed up. But I kept clean.
Dorian is eating cake and he has a very messy hand and a very messy face.
Now Dorian's putting all the chocolate into his hair. And he has chocolate all over his hands and his mouth and on his cup.

This recipe was fun to make but I got sleepy

I'm dropping the bananas into the bowl.
I'm crushing and smashing and hitting the bananas into a wet goo.
I'm pouring the flour into the bowl.
I'm pouring the very fluffy mixture into the very wet mixture.
I'm flattening out the bread that we're making. It's called: banana bread.

Sebastian's recipe for banana bread

You put in the wet mixture made with eggs and bananas and shortnin' shortnin' shortnin' shortnin'. And you put in something sweet, too. The something sweet is--surprise!--Domino sugar. After we've done that, you put in the fluffy mixture made with that Domino sugar. In the fluffy mixture also is some white flour. Daddy was measuring something with the teaspoon which is baking soda. That's all you put in and then you pour it into the wet mixture. And then you pour it into a very big or small pot. Or not so big. Or not so small. And after that you spread it and smooth it out. Then you put the pan into the oven for an hour two times a day. And when it comes out of the oven, surprise again! Banana bread.

Which day was this day? This is Grandparents' Day and Special Friends' Day

I think we were singing "Dog Dog." What we also sang was "Walk the World Now, Children" and "Three Little Birds." I didn't have a favorite song. We were at school and why we were doing this is because it was All School Sing. It was a very special day.
This is me and Diane and Emily. They are my grandparents. I also call them Mimi and Grandma. We were smiling. Outside, we were having a picnic. I had some pizza and a turkey wrap. For dessert, we had cookies. It was nice for Diane and Emily to come to my school and I did very good for them. I showed them everything in my class.

Grandma came and showed me these presents

The sparks were cool. How you made those sparks is you got to push really hard.

We took Emily to the ruined castle.

This dessert we had was yummy!!!!!!!!! It was starfruit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about this?

I would doubt if this came. And I loved it and we figured out what we needed to know. I'm talking about my mystery kit. It's called the Top Secret Adventures. It came with 2 books and 6 cards and the first thing we needed to do was figure out the 3 things. But the single, first thing was a signal. A signal missionist puzzle. The puzzle told you the mission. You had to find out some things about Platypus Gus. The mission we got to find out about him, it was in Australia. But the picture we found was of Japan. The 3 things were: Where was it hidden? Who did it? and What was it? The answers were: Platypus Gus, a kangaroo, and one dozen platypus eggs. How we found out what the answers were was we did the whole parts of our Top Secret Adventures Mystery Kit.

This would be fun

Velociraptors is fun to play. How you play it is you make a nest and be a velociraptor. The nest is made out of grass nash and dandelions. We make it out of leaves, too. Aidan loves to play it. Ruby didn't have time to play velociraptors today. Today, the ones that had time for playing velociraptors is: Riley, Aidan and Sebastian. Amelia was playing because we were chasing her. My name was Allosaurus. Amelia's name was Stegosaurus. Riley's name was Coelophysus. Aidan's name was Velociraptor. And we run around really fast. Because velociraptors are very, very, very, really fast. And sometimes when we walk we are very, very, very, really slow.

The Walker Farm-- too crazy for me!

"The Yellow Submarine" is my favorite song. Dustin painted the gas tank. Dustin is Cortney's very tall guy at Walker Farm.
DeeDee is very, very cute. And DeeDee's riding a tractor. Oh, look at the cute DeeDee.
I'm getting my hands washed by putting them in the sprinkles. I'm getting them clean by putting them into the water.

We bought basil, cilantro and parsley. It's our favorite food. My one that smells the goodest is the basil.

The rock and roll is fun and musical

This is fun, but musical. TTAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this my bag of gold? Oh, no. TTOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is not my party, but it's my music party. And I wanted to be this try but I found that I didn't find a clue because we were playing Blue's Clues. How you play Blue's Clues is you have to find 3 clues and then you figure out what Blue wants to do.

The pizza is yummy!-- Uhohohoh

In the first picture, I am getting the flour into the cup. Uh oh, I made a mess!
I am sprinkling the spices onto the cheese. The cheese and the sauce-- mostly I did it. I mostly did all of the sauce which is red sauce for pizza. The pizza's red sauce.
I'm putting red pepper onto the cheese. And I put some yellow and I put some green pepper, too.

Sebastian's recipe for Pizza

How you make the pizza dough is you have to get yeast. Some flour will help. Even please get some water. And please get two kinds of flour. The two kinds are: the little bit brown and the white. And put some olive oil and please put some salt. When it is all ready, punch it. And then put it in a bowl and put a baking towel on top of it and it will wait on some place of the counter or anywhere else in your kitchen. And then let it wait so it can rise.

Then what you do is, you can just have some fun like resting in bed, reading a book on the couch-- whatever you feel like being up to. Then put some red sauce, then put some mozzarella cheese, then put some red pepper, then put some yellow pepper, then put some green pepper. And put some spices and garlic. And then you put it in the oven.

It tastes good and please eat it when it's suppertime!

Nobody

I was sitting by a tree last night and everything was sc-cary! Everything was scary because there were ghosts and witches and other bad stuff. The most important one was a battle of bad guys. What happened next was I just had found one of the bad guys who wanted to kill me but I got another carving knife and chopped off his head with a hatchet. But they were still battling but they said, "(gasp) What happened to him? Did his head get chopped off?" but I just locked the door so he couldn't get in and chop me up. But somebody said, "P-Pooh. Everybody didn't know that there was a battle of bad guys." But I just stood up but the bad guy's knife was trying to chop off the door but you know what? My door hatchet came out and chopped off his whole body. It was nice to do it because I didn't have any parents. I lived alone in a big, big, big apartment building. That had lots of apartments. I was in the first apartment. How old I was was 67. Because I was 67 is that I was born in my Mom's tummy and my Mom and Dad had to go out every day I was a grown-up. So I stayed up very early last night because I was a very brave person. Because I was brave of bad guys and other stuff. I just knew what to do with bad guys. I would just go "Chop!"

Fairy house-- my favorite! I love it!

On the day before today, we made our fairy house, which was May 15th. We built it against our garden but it arranged today and we got some fairy dust!

Our fairy house is made out of grass nash, dandelion tops, dandelion stems, rocks and sticks. Grass nash is picked grass. Or moved moss. The dandelion tops were for the couch. The carpet was made of lots and lots and lots of grass nash and some of dandelion stems. The wall was made out of sticks. And the floor was stone and rock.

Dorian is my funniest baby. I just love him so much. He is loving me, too, because I am loving him. He didn't do anything with our fairy house because I told him a very, very good warning about it. The warning was: please do not wreck and knock down and arrange this fairy house because it's not fair.

Today we saw fairy dust made out of glittery stuff. It looks different also because it looks like glitter. So, I think a fairy moved in, but I saw no signs. But Mama told me to look if there were any. So, the fairy dust wasn't a sign, but we saw it. I thought the sign would be there is fairy dust in the fairy house. Go look after it! Yes! But, no! I thought it. I didn't see a sign, but I did see a sign. The fairy dust.
