What?!

Oh, wackadoo!
What's this? Do you know how to slide?
This is me sliding.
We're having our band. We're having a rock n roll band. I played drums on the first song, Daddy played bass and Dorian played guitar.
I'm playing a turn with the guitar. It went whaah!

What made that noise?!

There once was a bowl of
Succotash
That walked away from
The wall,
Walked past the setting computer
And goed past the
Square band.
Hey!
Did you see that?
The world turned
And nothing's in it
Anymore.

Humph and umph

I have a very nice and fancy outfit and I love it so much. I feel very relaxed, terribly calm and tranquil.
I'm goin' blueberry pickin'. And I got a lot!
There's Dorian picking blueberries. Dorian's right in the bush.
We are sitting around at the pond. We are eating some ice cream. I'm having M&M. And Mommy's having Graham Central Station. Graham Central Station tasted like a graham cracker. You could also call them graham cookies because they taste like a cookie.
I like my ice cream-- even the colors. Some of the colors are not any M&Ms.

This is not a game

What happened last night? There was a BIG surprise! We were going off to Noah's so we could do a special show. The drumset was in the garage. And there was ride cymbal 1 and ride cymbal 2. A crash cymbal and a high hat. Our name of the band was The Ladybugs. I was the drummer and Daddy played his guitar. That was our summer band. And so there was the singer for a different summer band called Meat Buffett and the singer was Ethan, 2 guitarists: Rob and Jeremy, and Noah on drums. [From left to right in poster illustration: Ethan, Jeremy, Noah, Rob] I'm practicing for the drums. And I'm talking to Tim and right there is Noah.
I'm playing guitar and talking what's going to happen.
There were no thunderstorms or rain storms. Those little sparkles are reflecting of the smoke. We played "Hotel Yorba," "I Think I Smell a Rat" (both by the White Stripes), and then we played "Fake Believe" by They Might Be Giants, and then we played "In the Evening" and "We Shall not be Moved." And then we played the last song "Now It's Time for So Long" from Blue's Clues.
That's my band!
And there's Daddy's band. And they played a song I liked. Guess which kind? "In the Garage."
This is me and DeeDee watching the band. Watching really good. And Dorian was saying, "Rock and Roll!" And I was saying, "More Rock and Roll! More Rock and Roll!"

Looking for signs of life

We're at the West River. Did you know what I did there? I threw rocks, climbed on rocks and flopped in the water.
There is a big splash!
I'm going up to a rock. That rock is really right where I'm standing. I'm in back of it.
There was a current far far back. So we didn't have to flop there.
DeeDee's goin' on a little cold. A little cold is a very big rock.

Strolling on top of the mountain

We're just about out of the car and about to begin our walking ride. Which way we needed to go is up and across. Up and left. How far it was was longer than Black Mountain. It was .5 miles. To get to Indian Pond is at Mme. Sherri Forest. And Mt. Wantastiquet.
Here's a little red eft. And after the little lion we went into the big tiger.
Here's a little cherry plant.
I'm sitting on the picnic rock. I'm looking at the pond. We saw lots of frogs and a leech-- a giant one! We saw a woodpecker.
I'm balance walking on this log.

Beware!
The giant
Is hungry
And thirsty.
And what did he eat but flowers?
And what did he drink but lollipops?
That's crazy!
And if you do,
You'll go into
The haunted house
In the South.

The End

I don't want to be alone

Once I was going down the road
To my house
And I got lost
In the woods
And I lost
Everyone I needed to be with.
And I was a little
Far from home
Because I wasn't going
Across the street.
I just got into trouble
Because millions of acorns
And acres hit me on the head
And I turned into a big mountain.
And I soon
Turned into myself again
And walked home.

Answer to my poll

You were right! I wasn't that good at making a birdhouse. But I love to crawl in bushes. All of them are my favorite but mostly it's good to be with my friends.

Recipe for making blueberry pie

I'm pouring flour into the bowl. The things already in the bowl are blueberries and sugar. The blueberries came from Guilford. The name is the Blueberry Haus. And we picked them.
I'm pouring the blueberries into the pie dough. That pie dough got in there by Mama spreading it out flat and putting it in the pie pan.
Now I'm helping my mom, Allison, criss-cross the pie strokes.
And this is the whole pie! Yay!!!
I'm too scared for the next picture. The pie was good and this is blueberry pie.
Sebastian's Recipe for Blueberry Pie
You use sugar, flour and blueberries and also you use a little bit of dough so you can do the criss-cross strokes and the pie crust. It tasted good so I ate all the pieces up and my whole plate was filled with blueberry goo. You first put in blueberries (you use about 8 quarts of blueberries) inside the bowl. Then, you put in Domino sugar (white-- you use about a circle that is [makes circle with fingers] this big). Then, you put in almost the same amount of flour. Then, you mix and stir, you mix and stir very gently of the mixture so you don't break the blueberries. That's the warning. Next, you put the dough in the pie pan. The dough comes from.... I don't know where it comes from. Mama made the dough, I mean. Then, you put in the mixture and that's it! Put it in the oven and wait. I don't know what temperature. You can read a book, play an instrument or do something else. It takes about 40 minutes.

Dorian with the dirty face

This is Dorian and he is eating a bagel with cream cheese and he's messy.
Dorian does two silly things: he's always doing the silly things I'm doing and also he's just doing it by himself when I'm doing something else. And he might fall down silly ways like me and Ruby. Like going "Uhhhlllll-- SLAP!" I like living with him. And he's so funny!

Garden

This kind of beetle it looks like is a beetle-ug. A beetle-ug is a very strange lookin' beetle.
My melon plant is too strange to even believe! There are little spiky pods on it. Mama thought they were gonna turn into cucumbers. But I think an organic strawberry pie just for me.

Skull

We were playing the Candy Crane. It took a lot of tries to have it getting the brown lollipop.
Now we're playing Belly Bomber. You have 5 bombs until you beat as hard as you can to the dinosaur. And I did very well.
We're playing basketball. And I threw once a ball into the basket and then I got a basket and then I fell.
Dorian's ridin' on the mouth car. Because, you see, it has teeth.
We're ridin' on the gumball truck. Dorian was a good driver.
And I got tickets on all of them. And what I buyed with my tickets was a water pistol and a lot of stuff like a fan and a harmonica. And I got a hopping frog and a car for DeeDee. And I'm still teaching him how to do the hopping frog. Dorian likes to play with cars.

Oh, it's so cute!

I went to see the reptile shows. But it wasn't just reptiles there were also cats that are warm blooded. The show was called Wildlife Encounters Zoo. The first animal was a little, so cute, lovely, loving armadillo. The armadillo likes to sleep and hug each other.
What came next was an alligator. I saw her 42 teeth. Two less than the opossum.
And this is a little opossum that I just said. The opossum squeaked. And it hanged upside down by its tail.
This is the supreme of all the reptiles and mammals. This is the coatimundi. Its name means "the animal that lived a long, lonely life." It's related to the coatimundi family and the raccoon.
This cat was a gorse cat. That means a good cat. Lived a scary life and is called a serval. They were feeding the serval mice.
And I holded a GIGANTIC snake. And how I did it was I holded it next to my little, new, good friend Kat. What kind of snake it was was a Burmese python. And it was heavy. [Ed. note: This snake was not yet fully grown at 16 feet. The world record for longest snake is a 28 foot Burmese python weighing over 400 pounds.]
