What were you for Halloween?

Oh, it's so cute!

I went to see the reptile shows. But it wasn't just reptiles there were also cats that are warm blooded. The show was called Wildlife Encounters Zoo. The first animal was a little, so cute, lovely, loving armadillo. The armadillo likes to sleep and hug each other.
What came next was an alligator. I saw her 42 teeth. Two less than the opossum.
And this is a little opossum that I just said. The opossum squeaked. And it hanged upside down by its tail.
This is the supreme of all the reptiles and mammals. This is the coatimundi. Its name means "the animal that lived a long, lonely life." It's related to the coatimundi family and the raccoon.
This cat was a gorse cat. That means a good cat. Lived a scary life and is called a serval. They were feeding the serval mice.
And I holded a GIGANTIC snake. And how I did it was I holded it next to my little, new, good friend Kat. What kind of snake it was was a Burmese python. And it was heavy. [Ed. note: This snake was not yet fully grown at 16 feet. The world record for longest snake is a 28 foot Burmese python weighing over 400 pounds.]

is it safe to assume that Mimi fled the room as soon as the giant snake came out? i can't believe you were brave enough to hold it!

also, i hear that armadillos smell bad - is that true?

No, she didn't. We didn't let her come with us. And she didn't want to come so we closed the door as soon as she was going to come out.

And armadillos don't smell bad. This one just had a runny nose. Derek said that armadillos smell like wet dogs. And I don't like that smell so much.

Bye.
