Six Redheads

I was frightened
When I saw
Six redheads one day.
The redheads chased me.
I ran
And I ran
All the way home.

Redheads are not you, silly Emily! Ha ha ha! A redhead is a head that has no body and nothing under it, but its skin on the head is red. Red like a tulip-- tulips are red.

ooooooh! Now I understand. I will remember that the next time someone calls me a redhead. Thanks for the clarification :)

There's so much hidden in this poem. It's like Skippito opened up my soul and displayed its wares at a flea market. And captured the ensuing haggling, in verse.
