This is positively perfect

I didn't have a whole body of a fish, I only had a mermaid tail. And it grew and it grew! A mermaid swims around. And I owned my home.

Sicatodium-- that means very silly!

We went to Kittery Trading Post and it was so sicatodium that there were animals in there. I'm being so silly in the Busytown car. I'm riding with Dorian and Lowly.
I'm standin' on the rocks. How we got there is just whoowheesht.
This is a little tide pool. And who is living there are little snails.
I was a seagull but I was tired. Seagulls steal other birds' food. I was running around to the seagulls but every time they just flew away. But I wanted them to be my friend.
Mama's holding out her treasures. Sea glass and a crab shell and a rock.

Beach 02

It's today. I'm walking in the water. Jumpin' over tide pools and also waves.
When this wave came, I almost got dunked.
DeeDee's lookin' so funny. He's all sandy and wet and dirty. And wrong looking. That means he's looking a little wrong. There is no butter on him. But most of all, you don't put any on him because that never happens.

Beach

We drived to an ocean house one day. Almost after a year, but a little shorter than that. After the company picnic. I have my collecting bucket.
I'm standing in the water. It feeled very co-ol-ol-ol-ol-ol-old.
We're walking on the wet sand but we can't find anything. It's true, but Mama says it's not true. Right, Mama? There are all kinds of things there. There are no kinds of things there. Dorian's picking up a shiny, dim shell.

Company picnic

We're doing the original tug-of-war. Malachai is on my team and also Dorian. And on the other side is Tanner. And I won. You know why? Because we did it just in time. Tanner losed. Me and Malachai and Dorian all won. Actually, Tanner won. No, Mom, no! It was only me, Dorian and Malachai. Those are the ones who did it just in time and actually won.
I'm doing 3 tries for the pinata. Mama, that says Pin-nata. I know but I don't know how to make that symbol. It's a putt-putt that made it wrong. A little putt-putt thing. Out flew candy, horns and shakers, bug eyes and most of all, yo-yos.
I'm hopping in the sack race.
I won my part of the race. The one that does the right time--that does it after--is the one that wins the race. That's not really how it works. Actually, it's not the right putt-putt you're hitting. I think you are getting too goofy. And I think you're not hitting any right putt-putts. No more putt-putt buttons for you, all right, Mr. Goofhead.

Rockin' rockin'

I have a video. And me and Daddy are playing a band. But it didn't work out very well for Lex. What we did work out very well was "I Think I Smell a Rat." That song is by the White Stripes. What instrument I'm playing is the drums. Who took this video was Uncle Jim.

Phonics

The phonics
crashed down
on the thing that
broke the jar that
crashed the clock.
And what did he see
but an
elephant bird,
a baby baby.
It whizzed past its mother
and then it
dropped.

Melody Time review

I watched Melody Time on the movie night day. Sunday. And I loved it! Well, there was one about 2 sad birds. I don't know why they were sad. You see, it was so funny. And there was a woman who played an organ and a drum. And the bird that owned the house put under a place some dynamite. A dynamite stick. And it caught on fire. And the organ turned into a keyboard.
And there was one about Johnny Appleseed. And also one about Little Toot. My favorite was Little Toot. I just liked all of it. Maybe all of the stories. Sunday is not really my movie night day. The real day of it is Saturday. And why we didn't have it on Saturday was because we were going to Noah's house for a party he invited us to.

My Uncle Jamie

My Uncle Jamie works on a green building that doesn't use much fuel or electricity or water. And I watched the video about it. Click on the link on the right to get it there.
He made me a mix CD, just to let you know. And I liked it. I liked all of the songs best. And the one I liked bestest was "Barbecue."

Hey! Look over there! I added a poll!

I like drumming but my motion tag didn't work. A motion tag is an imaginary tag that is on the front of your shirt. It glows in the dark. And makes you feel good so you don't catch cold or get sick.

Yesterday we went to the river

Yesterday we went to the river and we just saw it. It was a rainy day. I'm throwing rocks into the water. They go BLOOP! when a big rock goes in. But when a tiny one goes in, it goes bloop.

We went to a party at my daddy's coworker's house

We went to a party at my daddy's coworker's house Saturday. Her name was Sheila. That's not her, that's me. And I'm with a horse. And her name was Grace. I don't know where she came from, but she came from somewhere.
That's Daddy and Dorian with that horse. That's the only horse at the house. But that's not the only animal we saw there. Well, me and Daddy saw 2 cats. And we saw a turtle and fish.
That's me and Dorian in a hammock.
We saw a poster that was so exciting! It was my favorite band. And it said, "Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers." I had a good time at the party. And we stayed up pretty late. What time it was was 8:22!

Mini Golfing-- Yay!

That's Daddy and me getting the ball into the hole and practicing. We were playing at Hidden Acres. It was fun.
That's me, Dorian and Daddy it looks like. And the whole time, Dorian was carrying a green ball all around. What else we were doing was having lots of fun.
That's me and Daddy looking and practicing how to swing the thing and then push the ball.
Since we got so hot, we had some ice cream. I got a twisty I shared with Daddy and Dorian and Mama shared one bite of chocolate ice cream for me to try. Because I didn't think I liked it sometimes, so I had different ice creams that looked very tasty because of their names.

Beet!

We got these chioggia beets from Lilac Ridge Farm. And this is the biggest one of all of them. We didn't actually go to the farm. We went to the farmer's market next to the co-op to get it. We ate them both raw and cooked. Which way I liked it better was raw. On the inside when we cut it there were rings. They were white and red. Actually pink. I'd like to have them again some time. We got some okra, too. And some rainbow chard. And I liked it so much! And also, one more thing, a flower salad. I like to eat all the flowers you can eat. I like the red ones best. But the best ones are that I love a little bester insead of dark red I like blood light red.

Sprinkler-- fun!

I'm playing in the sprinkler. I wanted to get close to the water when Daddy teached me to jump over the water. The sprinkler came from a store.
That's Dorian and Daddy and a stream of water. How I liked about it is when I was jumping. When I got too far from the water, I didn't like that.

Me and Dorian again; Me and Dorian returned

I'm helping Mama hose the water into the pool.
My face is dutty. Dutty is one word in my Spanish. It means funny.
DeeDee is frowning with the watering can. He's dirty. How we got so dirty is when we were at Stephen and Jason's house. We were playing a lot but one time I just got a prick from a plant or a bee, a wasp or a deer fly.
We're taking a bath in the pool because Mommy wouldn't let us inside. And you know what? Me and Ukiah were doing something. We were having a race in the kiddie pool at Living Memorial Park. And that race was called "The Lucky You Can Race."
That's a flower in our melon plant. And I love flowers so much.

Ratatouille

At the movie theater, we watched a movie called Ratatouille. It was a good movie. I liked the end because it was funny. That part was before the credits. And the scariest part was when someone had a gun and shot the rats. Other people should go and see the movie. What our treats were was a lemon-lime soda called Sierra Mist and some popcorn, a small popcorn. It was about this large [Holds arms out in a large circle].

Concert and fun

That's Daddy and me. Daddy's playing the classical guitar. And I'm playing the xylophone.
That's DeeDee. Oh funny DeeDee. Dorian's playing the good drumset.
We played 2 songs. And we had so much fun.

Rob and Quinn's-- fun

I went to Rob and Quinn's today. We went to the river. The Connecticut River. It was so beautiful.

This is their house. On the line down it says number 4. Me and Rob and Dorian are in the picture. We went over to see their parents. It was fun when I had a concert with Rob. I went so I could see Quinn's parents. And there's her mother.
This is me bouncing on the bouncy ball.
Quinn's lookin' so funny! She's making a silly face in the hulie hoop. That's Dorian and my mom. And 3 balls. And a bubble.
I'm Mr. Orbitman. He has 2 crossing orbits on him. They are for going into the big red spot in Jupiter.

This too was fun

I see Dorian is in his floatieeeeeeeee boat. It was a little cold when I was at the beach so I stayed in the water for a little bit. The water was so warm that I couldn't get out!
Me and DeeDee are in the water. I'm borrowing Riley's tube.
That's me in Dorian's floatie boat. It's fun to use.
I'm having fun with Dorian. I'm playing on the sand. Mama made some sandcastles. Sitting here is Riley's baby brother, David.

Mme. Sherri Forest fun

Mama forgot the camera, but guess what we saw?
A snake! And it was going with its head up and its tongue went up and down really fast. And we saw a frog. And she caught that one and it was so big that it tried hop out of the net. So she let it go. And then it went back in the water and it sat on a log. It was as the size of a softball. And what we caught and put in the bucket was a little froglet. Froglet means a frog but still its tail is out. And we saw a snapping turtle. And it was just scooting slooowly slooowly slow. And we saw a leech.

No one heard this in America

No one heard this in America.
There was a big
Explosion
Fight in Asia
They used guns
And swords
And knives.
And they were
Trying
To get along.
To see who would get
Which lollipop
That was the only one
That was
Red.
It was sour cherry.
Yum!

Me

I'm so fancy, aren't I? I'm all dressed up for camp. At camp, I do lots of stuff. I slide, I jump, I swing, I ski. [You ski?] Grass ski. My camp is called Little Peoples Camp. My favorite counselors were Rebecca and Paige. I don't have any more camp. Instead, I'm going to Lake Spofford. And we're hanging out with Stephen and Jason.

Nothing but Jim

Bungie Bunga! Donkey Konga! My favorite game. Jim is here and Elena is here.
I am playing Donkey Konga. I'm playing a song. The ones that say one or two bongos are the ones I play.
That's Jim and DeeDee. And Jim is looking at me.
I'm on the elephant tree. The elephant tree is on a hike. The hike is close to our house but farther than Riley's. It's Putney Mountain. And also Putney Town Forest.
This is me. I'm standing next to a monster house. There was a crazy, scary cat that lived there. It did a hunt for mice. Because it was on a walk. And it eats mice.
Elena's playing the electric guitar. I'm playing the drums. Our concert was funny and good.

DeeDee's having fun. He's makin' everyone feel crazy. How he's making all the people crazy is because he's just crazy pouncin' on everyone.

I had a good visit with Uncle Jim and Aunt Elena. My favorite part was everything.
