Hi! Got a new rake! Have you got a new rake?

It's funny, though. I thought I would never get one. First, I wished I had a rake. Second, Oh Boy!
I think I jumped in some sort of pile. Now I'm pulling something. I'm pulling a carpet. I wish it was a magic carpet. They fly.

Making birds

We are making a contest. You have to guess the names of which bird they are. We looked in a Vermont bird book to see which birds we wanted to make.

You have to put your guesses in a comment. Whoever names the most birds correctly wins a great surprising prize! How long you have to do it is until May 2nd.
We were going to make with these birds a bird spinner.

Blogger workout

[Feel free to fire me-- this is the second event in 3 days for which I didn't have my camera. Sorry.]
We went to the Guilford library for an event of a program show and I loved it! I loved it, too! We went on a nature walk and this program show was supposed to have 2 events, but instead, the second event was in the middle of the first event. The first event was great, but the next event was just a whole game. We met a squirrel named "Squirrely Okie-Dokie Smith" who was a baby and she was so cute. And saw was drinking some milk. And we built something. A nest! We used mud, sticks, leaves, and even grass and hay. And even water! That's not true, he just thought it was made with water. We also had the game which was pretending squirrels where we pretended we were squirrels. I was Squirrely, another boy was the mom, and another boy was the dad. We had such a grand time.
Then, a picnic lunch it was. We ate and ate until we were full. The second program was about bugs. We looked at rocks to see if there were any water bugs on it. This was at a river. That was a special blogger workout.

Old science, mad science, scientific mecha-works

We went to Open Gym. We saw some scientific works today on Mad Science. We saw a show. And there was a mad scientist named "Cosmic Kate" when she did her work. We saw some sneezes. And we were volunteered. When we were volunteered, me and Dorian held a plunger with some toilet paper on it. Just me and little DeeDee. We held both ends and then Cosmic Kate blew some air aiming at the toilet paper. It was a very loud noise. And at the end of it, Mama was all covered in toilet paper. I'm pulling the black part.

Baseball team and a rolla theme

We're at a park. It's the Dummerston one. We went there to play. It was a very exciting time.
I'm out to pitch. But Dorian's the one who has hit his first ball.
I'm pitching to Daddy. I did a really good job.

This will be a great movie for you. I'm flying a kite in this one. The kite's from Dustin and Cortney.

This is another great movie. Dorian's scooting and then he runs away.

This one is when I'm running to first base and Daddy is so amazed with all my work!

Crazy hike

We went to the Chesterfield Gorge. We had a good time there. But the craziest part was throwing rocks into the river.
That's a biiiiiiiigg waterfall. I like it.
I'm on a rock. This is my top model pose for today.
Right here, Daddy and DeeDee are walking across a bridge. We had a wonderful time. Even when Mama scared me. But anyway, I scared her back, so that didn't matter. Come here soon!

I'm doing tennis

Bastian's doing tennis, too. And Mama's doing tennis, too. I throw the ball at Bastian.
Three letters, three letters! I writing a letters.

Thebama fama

Our plan was for today was to go for a nice nature walk. We also had to make a journal. I was wandering across the river when I thought we'd have some fun. We were looking for signs of Spring at the West River and the Retreat Meadows. That's a picture of me yelling. I'm holding my net. We were using it for catching things like frogs. We didn't see any frogs.
This is a picture of a water bug.
These are some seed pods. The difference between both of the seed pods is that one is cracked and one is not. The cracked one had little seeds in it that flew away. The gray one in Mama's hand had an egg of a little bug.

Signs of Spring

  1. the bee
  2. the geese
  3. green buds and plants
  4. all the water rushing
  5. the missing ice and snow

I hope no jump and climb today

At the end of this Jump and Climb visit was bad. But at the rest, I did fine. I jump on a tumble trak. Mama even showed me the waiting room. My class is about climbing rock walls and bouncing on trampolines. I love it!

The teeter totter seesaw beebah bee all the doodah day

This will be a great movie for you. But it seems more exciting when Dorian starts screaming.

[Please note that no children were harmed during the filming of this video.]

No plants, just poetry in nowhere

It's April, the poetry season. Turn into a poet, you'll be all ready.

The Seasons of Summer

I didn't really remember
That August came before September.
I seem to see
That now with a bee
That August comes before September.

No plants, just poetry in nowhereland.

I made a simple picture

I started out by gluing on eggs. They were blue eggs, robin's eggs.
I make a "c". I make a flying v and another "c" and a "g".
After I put on the eggs, then I put on the nest. The nest is made out of yarn. I put that on by gluing it.
I glued on some yarn. Glue. It made out of brown.
Then I put on a robin, then ourselves saying "Wow" and the robin redbreast was flying to get a worm, for an egg was shaking and tipped over. That's because the biggest baby was in there trying to get out. The worm's just crawling around, scooting. Scoot Scoot!

Maps

We made a pirate map. I mostly see a ship, islands, mermaids and more. I was drawing stuff, but it's too hard to explain.
What can you see? Can you see islands? Can you see a pirate ship? Can you see a whale? There's even a sea serpent. I would like to be a pirate. Only pretending, haha.

An orchestra played

An orchestra played for me at the Latchis Theatre. The movie place, one of them, has now turned into a concert hall. I heard Mozart and Ferdinand the Bull.

The Mozart made me think about flowers blooming, butterflies, and me being Pooh bear.

Ferdinand the Bull was nice. I knew that story already because I had the book. They performed it nice and clearly. I bet they took some practice.

I think Mozart was the overture.

I sit in a chair. I sit on your lap. A orchestra. It say, "Booba boo." I kicked a chair. I'm clapping. Clap your hands! Stomp your feet! Jump in the air!

Title, title, I don't know weirdos

We were making weirdos and monsters. We were using Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of Weirdos. I was drawing the devil, Godzilla, and a goblin.
Here's the close-up of what I drew. It is called "Hell."

Look. Mama made a skeleton, a goblin and a baby one, a devil and a vampire bat.

I'm painting and this experiment is called "Crayon Resist"

I'm painting! We first drew with crayons. Then, we painted with watercolor paints.
Look at my painting! It's beautiful, isn't it?
When we paint over top of the crayon, it resists.
I'm doing the painting. I make some, uh, a hot dog. Spirals! I made some holes. I made a pit. I made some circles around the tooch. What's a tooch? It's kind of a booch, like a strawberry, like a "v".
