The Monster Mash Comes to Life

Meet Sebastian the zombie on the left and Dorian the vampire on the right.

We are all decked out in our Halloween gear for my Halloween birthday party. What a scream!

Oh no! Dracula's son is out to get you! Watch out for his bite attack!
Uh oh! Here comes Sebastian the zombie! Gonna get you!

Do you like double attacks? Cuz here comes one.

This game we're playing right now is called eyeball bounce. It was really fun playing it.
Here comes my first shot ready to bounce not roll. The object of the game is bounce ping pong balls that look like eyeballs into one of those nine jars over there. The small ones are 150 points, the ones in the middle are 100 points and the ones in the back are 50 points.
This is called Monster Lab. All you have to do is just draw a monster.

The way to draw it is pick a card out of a pumpkin bucket (no peeking) and whatever body part the card says you have to draw. For example, those creepy red eyes up there with the added eyebrows drawn by me I drew because when I picked the first time, my card was a slip of paper that said "EYES" so I had to follow the directions. I just want you to know that you should really watch out for those poisonous boogers coming out of its nose and the blood coming out of those warts won't give you a nice surprise when you touch them.

This is a Jack-O-Lantern cake. To make the mouth and eyes we used some sprinkles.

Yummy! I love cake! It tasted good. No, not good. Great. No, no great. Super great.

No, not super great. Super duper great.

No, not super duper great. Super duper alley ooper great.

This is called Brain Toss. See that white thing sticking out of it, it's a tongue. Just kidding. It's a brain.

I would call that a point because at least the bean bag brain got halfway in. Actually, nobody else threw a brain bean bag halfway in. Mom designed the zombie and I wonder how dad caught the picture of the brain in midair.

I was the one who won the game. Nobody else actually got all of the bean bag brains in the mouth.

I must say Dorian's Jack-O-Lantern turned out awesome.
I say that it's so cute that it's scary.

I say that it couldn't have come out that great without the help of dad.
I really like the yellow glow in that one. Actually that's my Jack-O-Lantern.

You cannot even see the outside of the pumpkin, you can only see the face of it.

I call that face "The Evil Glare Stare."

This is both of us in our costumes about to go outside for Halloween. We're making scary faces in this picture, right?

Yes but I'd rather say that in this picture we're "ready to strike." For candy that is.

Busy December Days

We were both in pictures and in the first one Alfred said, "Cheeseburger!" and in the second one he said, "Spaghetti and Meatballs!" That's what he said. I asked Santa for a 12 footed robot. I asked Santa for a Hershey's big bar and an orange.

I'm making this gingerbread guy. I didn't like the dark blue jelly bean.

I'm making a red and green gingerbread guy. We were doing it where we got to visit Santa and the place where Open Gym is held.

This is a picture from the snow day we had, luckily. I was waiting for a snow day from school. Finally, I got one. That's when we were out in the snow. I love it! We're behind a hill in partly our yard, partly the neighbor's yard.

This is a picture from the gingerbread party. Mine is the one which says "Shack O' Fun" and you probably know that because you can hardly see my blondish hairdo right near it. Lydia made the one that says "Ho-Ho Manor" and Riley's has an "R" on it I don't think you can see because it's not in the picture.
Christmas morning has finally come! Yeah, I liked it when I got that big Hershey's bar. And stuff. And stuff.

Sebastian, did Santa bring what you asked for? No. Grandma did. One of my favorite presents is my name made of wood. I put it on my bass drum. And I'm gonna keep it there when I'm drumming in the band. One of my favorite things is for the whole family: a chocolate orange. And it's cool that I really got what I wanted: a book called "The Christmas Cat"-- it's not what I wanted, but I like it. Daddy got something that is really cool-- chewy, double-flavored Lemonhead and friends. Dorian got a deep diver. I just love Christmas. It's one of my favorite holidays.

Birthday fun

[On November 7, for the boys' birthday present, we took them to the Montshire Museum for some science fun.]

We were on a balcony at the top picture. We haven't never been to the Montshire Museum and that was the first time we went there. We could see the park way down below. It was cool! I couldn't wait to go there after the fun inside.

This is the fog room. I got to stick my head down into a big pit of the fog. It felt a bit warm, but damp. There was also a yellow tube I could hold up and the fog would all spray out. It looked cool!

We were trying to make this dinosaur. We got to learn about paleontologists at this part. We like going on big adventures. This was a big, long day to go here at the Montshire Museum. We had fun. It was hard trying to make the dinosaur, but I finally got to finish it. It's kind of like a one-legged guy who's looking backwards while it's hopping.

[On November 14, we had a birthday party for the boys.]
Cake! Yummy old frosty candy old cake! Yummy yummy licorice, yummy yummy starbursts, yummy yummy m&ms. Yummy yummy cake! After a few days, I got to have some of the cake with ice cream for dessert. It's delicious!

Cake time is now! Let's have some cake! If you look at the top of the picture, you might think that we're sitting around a campfire. But if you think that, that's the wrong answer. It's really the candle flames on the cake.
Lydia! I love Lydia! We were playing "Pin the Machinery and Buttons on the Robot". I was 7 and I got one of the antennae on correctly with a blindfold, but I was surprised when I saw 8 year old Archer suddenly just stick the wire with the plug on backwards. It looked really silly. Another silly part of the game was when Dorian's friend Skyler stuck a button on upside down.

This is Cozmo and us. Cozmo is a robot. Dad and Sebastian made it. Sebastian made the buttons and Cozmo and screen and stuff like that. Dad made the feet and the body and arms and head-- like, that stuff. Cozmo is the completed robot that we made. If you look on the upper part of his body, you might see his name on the nameplate.

Our trip

We went on a trip. I read books. We drank juice and ate snacks. And ate Mama.

Our first stop was Jamie and Kaci's house. I liked it there. I felt sick.

I'm reading The Pop-up Mice of Mr. Brice. Jamie came over to our house one time.

We went to the Natural History museum. It looks like I'm getting my head eaten off by a dinosaur skeleton. But not really. I'm just standing in front of it. I felt sicker. The Natural History museum is in Washington, DC at the Smithsonian. And we went on escalators.

That's me! That's us. We are in front of the "castle." The weather was really rainy, but now the rain has sort of stopped, but then it rained again after that.

Here's the Washington Monument you see here. That's me! We went to Washington, DC with my grandma.

We're at the Metro station. I thought it was really cool. It had lots of nice lights and escalators and machinery. Definitely lots of that. I just really liked it. I liked going on the trains and going through those stuff and going up the escalators. The place spread with excitement. It means someone spread, like, a jar of excitement jam all over it. It seemed like the future.

We went to Uncle Jack's house for the last house. I liked to call him Uncle Snack. I really liked it. We played music there and slept there and played there. We saw some ponies, real live ponies and... turtles! and egrets. We had some ice cream, too. I had cotton candy party. I had chocolate swirl! It always kept melting. I ate the cone last. They had a floppy frisbee with lots of arms. We played a game with it. How you play is that there's a fan above you and you're trying to throw the frisbee onto the fan. And then you put the fan on and it rains all over the place. When it falls off the spinning fan, you never know where it's gonna land, 'cause every time it lands in a different direction.

I liked going on the trip. It was a good time there.

Busy Birthday Weekend

I'm looking at my box of robotics. I built the remote control robot. I also got some Ed Emberley books and another drawing book with a pen and 2 colored pencils. I also got an electric bell and K'nex. It was fun playing with them and building them. I'm holding my best friend Kiki who is a knit cat. I love her. I also love her, too.
We were lying next to the robot. Me and Daddy and Dorian made it with blue tape. I made it because of my special birthday party.

We're making a potion. We'll throw it at Mama. We used chalk, water, dirt, packed down soil, and bugs. And bug blood. We also used pumpkin guts.
Look at our robot cake! Don't you see all the buttons and the big funny face? I do, but Dorian doesn't see. [Kids laughing.] I do, but Sebastian doesn't see. [They cackle and repeat themselves endlessly. Let's move on.]

Mama's bringing out the cake. And you know what? It had a lemon flavor.

Today we went to Gone Bananas. I'm playing the Dog Pounder.

I'm playing Arctic Thunder. We were in something.

Now we're playing Dance Dance Revolution. It was special because it was Japanese, my favorite language. It's my favorite language because they have cute words.

My birthday is great! I feel happy to be 6!

Family Fun Day Animusic Images

I'm at the Family Fun Day. The person behind me looks like Aidan, but it may be Ukiah. I go inside the sea serpent, I race, and I even bounce and slide.
Me and Riley are climbing and racing. That's at the obstacle course.
We're getting near the end. Who will win? Who knows? It's a tie!
Now we're playing on the pirate ship. My favorite thing to go on was everything. And my favorite person who was there was because I saw Paige! Paige is my favorite person from Little Peoples camp. I'm going to another camp this summer and we're gonna throw bow and arrows at a target and go swimming. What fun!

This was a great sleepover!

Lydia came over because she wanted to sleep over last Saturday. I planned we would have noodles for dinner. I loved my supper! I had D and G and O and I.
Me and Lydia are hugging each other. Or maybe dancing. We were dancing. We were playing house. We first make dinner. And then we go out for our wedding. First we dance. Then we eat. Then we dance again.
Dorian joined in a picture. We're playing school now. We ride on school busses. A yellow one and a brown one. And we go to a classroom in college. We do in the classroom music and playtime and mail time and ABC time.
We even have sleepy time. We're in our beds. We were sleeping in sleeping bags. And I'm in a sleeping bag, too! It was nice sleeping on the floor. Lydia's is orange and mine is blue.
Now we're playing Hullabaloo. It's morning time in college. Soon it will be breakfast time. We had blueberry muffins for breakfast. Hullabaloo is a very fun game. I'm dressed up as Mimiko from Panda! Go Panda!
We liked having our first sleepover. Watching Panda! Go Panda! was my favorite part of the sleepover. Lydia invited me to go for a sleepover at her house. I really do want to go to her house.

Rock Band Rock Band!

It's Daddy playing a guitar. And Rob playing a guitar. And Dorian playing the drums. And I am playing the guitar. We played Rock Band at Karen's house. Her house is down the road, right next to Walker Farm. We played and we played very late. And in the middle of our playing we had our pizza party. And carrots and cookies. Karen's playing the guitar. Karen! Playing the guitar! We managed to play a song called "Wanted Dead or Alive" with Dustin even though he wasn't there. But I'll tell you how it happened. Well, that very evening we had our TV plugged into the computer, the computer plugged into Dust, and the same thing happened at his house. He is in San Francisco right now.

Tell me... What is a party, more or less?

We were having a gingerbread house making party today.
Look at all the candies! We had Chex, pretzels, marshmallows, red licorice, gumdrops, gummi Lifesavers, little kinds of disky things [Necco wafers], I also bought Kissables, sort of gummy raspberries and blackberries, Mike and Ikes, mix of bear cookies and bunny crackers, and the final nonpareils. I liked the candies...
...until we were soon making the gingerbread houses. (Decorating.) I invited Riley and Lydia.
I'm decoratin'. I'm dipping in the candies with sugary glue. Then I put them on the house.
Look at Lydia! She's decoratin', too.
That's me and Lydia. [Riley declined to be photographed.] From left to right, Riley's is on the very left, then Lydia's, then mine, and Dorian's. Doesn't my head look a little bit like Dorian's?
Look at DeeDee! He's trying to eat candies!!!!!!!!!
I had a good time. YOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
