Birthday fun

[On November 7, for the boys' birthday present, we took them to the Montshire Museum for some science fun.]

We were on a balcony at the top picture. We haven't never been to the Montshire Museum and that was the first time we went there. We could see the park way down below. It was cool! I couldn't wait to go there after the fun inside.

This is the fog room. I got to stick my head down into a big pit of the fog. It felt a bit warm, but damp. There was also a yellow tube I could hold up and the fog would all spray out. It looked cool!

We were trying to make this dinosaur. We got to learn about paleontologists at this part. We like going on big adventures. This was a big, long day to go here at the Montshire Museum. We had fun. It was hard trying to make the dinosaur, but I finally got to finish it. It's kind of like a one-legged guy who's looking backwards while it's hopping.

[On November 14, we had a birthday party for the boys.]
Cake! Yummy old frosty candy old cake! Yummy yummy licorice, yummy yummy starbursts, yummy yummy m&ms. Yummy yummy cake! After a few days, I got to have some of the cake with ice cream for dessert. It's delicious!

Cake time is now! Let's have some cake! If you look at the top of the picture, you might think that we're sitting around a campfire. But if you think that, that's the wrong answer. It's really the candle flames on the cake.
Lydia! I love Lydia! We were playing "Pin the Machinery and Buttons on the Robot". I was 7 and I got one of the antennae on correctly with a blindfold, but I was surprised when I saw 8 year old Archer suddenly just stick the wire with the plug on backwards. It looked really silly. Another silly part of the game was when Dorian's friend Skyler stuck a button on upside down.

This is Cozmo and us. Cozmo is a robot. Dad and Sebastian made it. Sebastian made the buttons and Cozmo and screen and stuff like that. Dad made the feet and the body and arms and head-- like, that stuff. Cozmo is the completed robot that we made. If you look on the upper part of his body, you might see his name on the nameplate.

The big, big, big cow parade!

It was good. I'm making a face because I wanted a flag one time but Sebastian was being mad but I just wanted to wave it. I was mad because he just stole it from me because he wanted to wave it and I was really mad about that. Can you talk about something more pleasant? We got lots of candy! Right! And that was good. I liked the candy.
This is the parade of the people at my school that were going to be in the parade. I watched them go past. I was gonna be in the parade, but I wasn't because my mother didn't really want me to. From somebody from his class, he got some candy.
Lydia is over there at the back of that row. I don't think you can really see her but if you look carefully, you might. The hint is: Lydia is wearing a cow skirt. Can you find it?

This is a upside-down truck. A upside-down ice cream truck! We got some vanilla and chocolate and caramel ice cream there. The caramel to me tasted like the people who made it added maple syrup to it.

That is the pink panther that I watch cartoons of. The pink panther was in the parade and he was giving us high fives! I said, "I watch your cartoons!"
I thought the parade was good, but we didn't see the [KeyBank] key this time. I didn't know if it was gonna be there or not so I thought it would be both. Grandma came to the parade with us. She doesn't usually. I think Grandma liked the parade very much.

This 4th of July parade was great because I was in it!

I was sitting in the stroller. Because you were taking me to the marching band! I didn't play the band. Who did? Sebastian! And Daddy, too!

It's Sebastian! He was marching in the band! [He's at the front left in the pink shirt, drumming.]
I'm drummin'. It's great! I loved the parade. I started at a high school, then we marched down past Walgreen's. We ended at a place that had an open space that was very green because of all the grass. [The common] I saw Mama, DeeDee, Lydia, and Christine. I was in the WVEW marching band group. WVEW is a radio show. It's for anybody. It's in the Brooks House. There are microphones to speak in. There's even a CD player or maybe two for your CDs. They play only one song, though.
Look! There's Daddy! He's far away, though. I had a very fun time playing my drum. And I was next to a lady I liked.

Strolling of the Heifers

There was a great cow parade. I loved it! And I love it, too! And I did love it, too! Riley was in it. He was riding his monkey bike dressed up as an ant. I saw the baby cow sometime. There were 2. There were no baby cows. There were baby cows. There were not.

Dancing with the fiddles

Look at this picture. Is anything missing? The bridge. These are the Morris dancers. They use sticks and hankies and stuff like that.
The stick broke when his partner hit it very hard. They are playing sticks. The woman is playing an accordion.
I am in the stroller. Dorian thinks it's so loud he has to cover his ears. They were playing sticks.
That boy put that foot behind this part. But they have bells there. Then they broke the stick. He's not talking about a boy, he's talking about a woman, he just doesn't know.

Cow Parade Pt. 1: This is about my family and me

This is me waving my flag and jumping with my balloon. My flag came from Mama's sewing machine and her pin. And the balloon came from the parade.
I'm sitting with Daddy and Dorian. I'm in the middle. I'm waiting for the parade to start.
DeeDee's eating a lemon pop. I had some lollipops before. But DeeDee NEVER did. He liked it.
I'm looking at my candy. It came from the throwing candy people. They were in the parade. I got those beads from the parade.
The parade was the best!

Cow Parade Pt. 2: Heifers

Well, pogo sticks are too bouncy! It was kind of in the middle of the beginning. And banners are fun to hold up and flags are fun to wave.
Noah's with a little cowie. Noah works with the cows at a school. The Putney School he works at.
There's a little Turkey Hill cow. It was a BIG Turkey Hill cow.
There's a little person dressed up like a cowie.
There's another little cowie. Or maybe it's the same one. It's driving a tractor pulling another cow that's a toy.
I think I saw 109 cows.

Cow Parade Pt. 3: Strolling with the heifers is just fun. I love heifers!

This is the band. [makes band noises] BBBBBBBBEEEEEERRRRRLLLLLLLLEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPP!
The tractors go Whoop whoop whoop whoop whoop with their steam closers. I usually see tractors driving down the street. They're everywhere.
There's a dragon-- fierce and eatable. You can eat him for your lunch. Raw because he's numb.
The wheel is fun to spin on. Colin was on it. The stilts were dangerous.
Daddy's coworkers are kind to Jeremy. They were carrying banners.

Cow Parade Pt. 4: This was the best cow parade ever!

That was very fun to do, but tricky.
That was a very silly car. It was a clown driving in it.
That band made beautiful sounds. Their costumes were silly. They had pirates hats on.
That little horse is beautiful. I love her.
There's our friend Alfred! We also saw him as a Christmas elf.
