Winter carnival time

I was picked for the first ride on a dog sled. I felt really good, but kind of sad because Dorian couldn't do it. It was really a fun ride for me and the other kid who went with me. There had to be 2 people per sled. The sleds were really decorated and really cool. I got 4 bags and Dorian got only 2 in the candy chase, so I gave Dorian a bag of candy.

A candy chase is when you try to get this candy. It's outside at Memorial Park. It's on the ground-- the candy is. It's a really fun thing. Last time, I didn't get any candy until some guys gave me some. And me and Sebastian both got to have candy. We got to sled down the hill, of course.

Winter Time Fun! (Snowmen)

In this picture you can see we are with this snowman and it doesn't really have a carrot nose, just a wood nose. And it's smoking a pipe. We made it out of a set we got, I think, last winter. It was fun making the snowmans.

This is one we mainly decorated out of plastic Easter egg parts. In this picture you can see I'm wearing a super suit. It has like these robots two together and then another set two together.Mom made the snowman's face --look mean!-- all out of things you eat. The eyes are apricots, it has a carrot nose, and a Brazil nut mouth. We wanted to make a mean face.

This is our snow fort we made. This afternoon it all crumbled up and I don't know where all those buried snowballs I made are. They probably are under the blocks of snow that we used to partly make the wall of the fort. It's very cool, I think. And it's very fancy, I think. I think it crumbled because it was so hot outside today. And the snow fort was so cool that I thought we were not only, like, carpenters, we also seemed like architects.

Busy December Days

We were both in pictures and in the first one Alfred said, "Cheeseburger!" and in the second one he said, "Spaghetti and Meatballs!" That's what he said. I asked Santa for a 12 footed robot. I asked Santa for a Hershey's big bar and an orange.

I'm making this gingerbread guy. I didn't like the dark blue jelly bean.

I'm making a red and green gingerbread guy. We were doing it where we got to visit Santa and the place where Open Gym is held.

This is a picture from the snow day we had, luckily. I was waiting for a snow day from school. Finally, I got one. That's when we were out in the snow. I love it! We're behind a hill in partly our yard, partly the neighbor's yard.

This is a picture from the gingerbread party. Mine is the one which says "Shack O' Fun" and you probably know that because you can hardly see my blondish hairdo right near it. Lydia made the one that says "Ho-Ho Manor" and Riley's has an "R" on it I don't think you can see because it's not in the picture.
Christmas morning has finally come! Yeah, I liked it when I got that big Hershey's bar. And stuff. And stuff.

Sebastian, did Santa bring what you asked for? No. Grandma did. One of my favorite presents is my name made of wood. I put it on my bass drum. And I'm gonna keep it there when I'm drumming in the band. One of my favorite things is for the whole family: a chocolate orange. And it's cool that I really got what I wanted: a book called "The Christmas Cat"-- it's not what I wanted, but I like it. Daddy got something that is really cool-- chewy, double-flavored Lemonhead and friends. Dorian got a deep diver. I just love Christmas. It's one of my favorite holidays.

Jim is coming over today

My uncle Jim came over the other day. The weekend was fun, spending a time with him. Jim came over on Saturday. We went to different places. They were cool. There were cars at one store. Sometimes I see signs that say "One Way."

First stop: Grafton Village Cheese Factory

I'm hiding in this picture, but Sebastian is always in the way for me. I was rolling down the dusty and grassy hill. And one time I ran down so fast I couldn't stop myself from running 'til I got to this dried up water pipe. I'm making muscles.
I am jumping off a rock. I really love jumping off a rock when I'm Dorian. Dorian, the greatest boy in the world!

Next stop: Harlow's Sugar House

First, we went into the store and we met this woman and she told us we had to wait a second until we could see the sap in the machines, so we decided to go over to the maple trees and look at the sap. We tasted it. Did you know that 40 gallons of sap is just one gallon of maple syrup?! The sap tasted like water with one little piece of sugar in it.

I'm in the trees with Sebastian. Bye-bye, I'm leaving this tree by the sidewalk with the bee. I'm hiding. Can you find me?
We're in the evaporation room. First, we followed this truck full of sap over to this big tank. Then, we followed this pipe that we saw all the way into the evaporation room. First, the evaporator was just getting ready. It was warming up. Then, a few minutes later, the steam billowed everywhere! It looked like a total explosion had went off and the smoke couldn't stop going away. It was crazy! And then we had some maple syrup and then we ate some sugar on snow and some apple fritters. The fritters were delicious! They were very delicious! I hope you go there and taste them someday. I love the sugar on snow and the apple fritters.

Third stop: Dwight Miller Orchards

I'm throwing rocks in this humongous puddle.

Now we're racing races. When I was running with Daddy, he jumped over my head and that was not fair. Not only that but I also got hurt. On Sebastian it hurted so bad.

Last stop: Our living room

I'm playing a trumpet that Jim gave me. I'm reading my magazine. It came with a mouthpiece, too, which is an important part.

I'm farting... I'm Dorian... I'm farting because I'm Dorian...

I'm using a trumpet. I love using a trumpet because that's Jim's. Jim came over today.

Dorian and Sebastian

I'm Dorian. Sebastian is my friend. Actually, he's my brother. Sometimes I swing on our swing we made. And we use some ropes for it... for the swing. Swings are cool.

I love to play in the snow. It's not snowing anymore. It's raining. I heared a thunderstorm last night and I slept through it. It's very loud KA-BOOM! That was a bad dream because it was a big thunderstorm!

I like planting flowers with Mama. We plant daffodils and all kinds of flowers.

That was a really great day being Dorian. We tried to find spring, but we couldn't. But there were signs of spring. I don't know what they were.

I have a class called Little Peoples. My teacher is Nicole and there's Ruthie and Neve and Priya and me, Dorian. I make crafts and all kinds of stuff.

"S" is for Sebastian. I love my brother, Sebastian. He's my great brother in the whole world. But we have a snow fight. And one day we made a snowman called Frosty. And there was a snowman called Frosty at Sugar on Snow. KA-BOOM!

Super Sledders!

Super sledders on the go! This is super! And guess what? I went on a few low sleds, then went up one lump, then, after the ones on two lumps high, I went much higher. Almost to the top. And I sledded all the way to the bottom. It was fun!

Riley is snowboarding. I'm only saying this because you can't see the snowboard, so I just wanted to say that.

My snowboarding went swell until the end. I practiced snowboarding about 2 or 3 times. At the end I slipped over, the snowboard flipped, I tipped and tumbled and I really hurt.

I was sledding down towards my nose in the sled. Then, something turned my mind in the sled. No people go to cages.

I'm gonna be in the newspaper!

Of course! I thought I was gonna be in the Brattleboro Reformer. This is the best day of my life because I get to be in the news for my very first time. I was surprised about Frosty. Frosty gets to be in the paper also. One day I'll get in the paper. Yeah, maybe you will be. Just perhaps, Dorian.

I was at Sugar on Snow when I got my picture taken. I think they took the picture of me because they liked my hat. It all started when this woman (who wasn't taking pictures for the paper) was taking a picture of me. Then all of the sudden this woman who was taking pictures for the paper suddenly snuck up and took a picture of me myself. Then I slept a sleep. Then, one day, I looked on the computer and saw all the pictures that were gonna be in the paper. And when I saw them, one of them was the picture of me. And that's how I know I'm gonna be in the news.

The Black Mountain View

It was a beautiful day when me, Mama, and Dorian and Daddy set off for an adventure on Black Mountain. Here are two views of what it looked like in two places at the top of the mountain.

I am cuddled up tight in my warm snow suit. The wind is about to kill me of cold, although I am really warm. So I put my hands up. We also found a bunch of different kinds of animal tracks. We found a bunny's, dog's, deer's, and even chipmunk's. And even bird's.

I am walking in a secret path wondering when we had to get back home. I saw a village ahead, but it was not too long. Sebastian was called "Ice Man". Dorian named hisself "Ouch" because he wore his hat and not his balaclava. It was very cold and I didn't have any balaclava and I just have one eye. I can just bounce on one eye today.

This is a really funny movie because if you look, you'll see that I am sliding down with funny parts in it.

When Jamie's beard was snowy

I was on my toboggan. This movie title might trick you because when you say the title it'll sound like "it's no fun" but it actually is.

Christmas is special

I love you! I love Christmas presents. We're about to open presents. It's Christmas! It's Christmas, ho ho ho!

I'm Santa, and I'm giving out presents.

I'm the Thing from Fantastic 4. The costume came from Santa. There was a note that said, "What you asked for when we were talking wouldn't fit inside your stocking. Look under the tree for a picture of me. Love, Santa" And I saw the one and only present that was near me with a picture of Santa on it. Inside there was not one costume, there was two! I got another one called a "Honey Bunny" but it was missing only the bunny ear headband.


We're wearing our sledding things. We're wearing our snowshoes. I thought they were great.

We're making a snowman.

We went to Panasian for lunch. And I discovered that my tooth was loose. It was actually 2 teeth that were loose. And they were right next to each other. And they were wiggling!

Thanksgiving weekend

I'm holding a bone of turkey. I'm taking a bite of it.

I'm rolling around in the snow. I'm looking at Sebastian. We went to advent tea at Cookie's house. I was solving a mystery with this writing box. And all the lat names I heard in the writing box were Powers. We were jumping in the snow. We had a snowball fight. It was snowing while I was at advent tea.
I'm looking at your bunny. You made a bunny.

Tiring nature walk

I wanted to go for a nature walk. So we went to the cemetery down the hill.
This is a picture of a log with icicles hanging from it. Maybe the sap was why it made them that color. Or maybe they filled them with maple syrup. Or with candy!
These were some tracks. I think it might be a kangaroo or a rabbit.
I don't know which animal made the one that looked like a hand. I bet it is a raccoon.

I am Tinkerbell-- la la lalafa fa

Here I am stepping on the woodland trying to make a project. I'm wearing my posing shoes.
Now I'm outside. I was carving wood outside. I like being outside. And I'd rather see a sport than be tired.
Now I'm doing my snow journal. We're on the porch. It's not impossible. It really happened. I was writing about snow and drawing pictures of things I like to do in the snow.

Fog, snow and a special temple

I'm king of the temple. I mean, boss. A boss is really, to me, someone who's in charge of something.
Dorian is making a funny face. Ha ha ha. The weather was foggy. It was coooooolllld. [It was 52 degrees. Seemed warm to me.]
I'm lying in the snow. Aaaahhh. How refreshing!

I also played Super Mario Galaxy in the snow. I do pull stars and get power stars; I collect purple coins for Mama. But I also race Cosmic Mario and I do Daredevil Comets. Speedy Comets, too. And sometimes I don't have to do some comets. Sometimes there are no comets at all. I've tried and tried, but I've died a lot even though I've done very good on the Rolling Gizmo. I search the galaxies through spiff and out of spaff. How to get to a galaxy is just go to a dome, go onto the pull star and click on the galaxy you want to go to.

Silence of a dream of candy, Animusic and other good things

We were going to go to the Retreat Meadows and walk around on the ice, but there was a big, big crack in the ice. So, we went to Living Memorial instead. Dorian's going down the steps.
It's me and Lydia. But I don't know what's making it look so dark about the trees. We're walking. I'm Pooh and she's Piglet.
I'm climbing. She's following me.
I really like Lydia. I can't understand these pictures, but it was a fun time there. Once I asked her to marry me, but she didn't want to. This time I'll ask my best friend, Margaret.

Snow snow snow snow snowy snow snow

Oh dear! I fell. But I didn't really hurt myself, but I kind of just plopped in the snow. I am in the yard and that's where I wanna go today. But I also want to go sledding.
I'm standing in the house Mama made. My house has a chair and a slide. And a land of beautiful discovery.
